The best days of our lives / Los mejores dias de nuestras vidas
The last three days have been by far the best days of our lives. We met our daughter Alejandra and since then we haven't stopped being amazed. She laughs all the time, she makes funny faces, she gives toys to dad and seems to think that mom eats very funny! SHE IS AMAZING, SIMPLY AMAZING!
Los ultimos tres dias de nuestras vidas hansido los mejores de nuestras vidas. Conocimos a nuestra hija Alejandra el lunes y no ha dejado de sorprendernos. Ella rie todo el dia, hace caras chistosas, le da comida a papi y se rie del modo de comer de mami. ELLA ES SIMPLEMENTE ESPECTACULAR!!!!
Our journey started at ICBF's offices. She was very relaxed during the "Encuentro" meeting. At home she was happy playing and laughing. She likes going out so we went for a walk. The next day she showed us her dance skills and made faces for us.
Nuestra jornada empezo en las oficinas del Instituto. Aleja muy tranquila durante el Encuentro. En casa se rio mucho jugando. A nuestra chiquita le gusta salir asi que fuimos a caminar. El dia siguiente nos mostro" como baila e hizo caras chistosas.

ENCUENTRO!!!
Finally the moment we have been waiting for is here! Next Monday February 21st. we will be holding in our arms our little angel. I have memorized her picture. I know it seems funny but she has gotten prettier by the minute, the more I look at her picture the more amazing she becomes! Her eyes, her eyebrows and those arms! My God can't wait to hold those little arms.
As we pack I realized I wouldn't know how to do this without the help of others. So as always I asked help from my friends at Colombians Adopt Colombians. On file, a list of things to bring with you. I printed the list, went to the store and now I am ready to go!
